About In Motion Fitness

The heart of what we do is movement for care — finding ways to move that feel sustainable, supportive, and balanced in your life.

In Motion Fitness is a place to move, feel good, connect, and discover what’s possible for you.

We offer a variety of ways to move, from strength and cardio to mobility, balance, and recovery. Our classes offer options for different bodies, abilities, and fitness levels, so you can find what works for you. We believe movement should feel fun, empowering, and worth coming back to.

And because feeling well is about more than a workout, we also offer personalized coaching, seasonal support, and wellbeing workshops to help you explore what you need and discover new possibilities.

Move for your body.
Move for your life.
Move for you.

Why We Use Video

More than just following along.

We use video because it creates a shared experience. You get the energy, music, coaching, and personality of a great class, while still having the freedom to make the workout your own.

The format gives you clear visual instruction, consistent coaching, and the ability to choose your own pace and modifications. It also lets us offer a wide variety of classes and movement styles without requiring a different instructor for every class.

But perhaps most importantly, you're not just watching a screen. You're part of the room.

You move together, laugh together, work hard together, and encourage each other. The video gives everyone a shared rhythm and focal point, while the people in the room create the connection and energy that makes In Motion Fitness spark joy.

Great coaching.
Your own pace.
A room full of people moving together.

Meet the Team

Cindy Appanaitis

Hi, I’m Cindy!  I’ve always believed movement can be so much more than exercise. It can help us feel stronger, more capable, connected, and alive in our lives.

Movement and health have been part of my work for more than 25 years, including 15 years as a secondary P.E./Health teacher. Along the way, I’ve come to see that the most meaningful part of this work is helping people build a relationship with movement that feels good, supportive, and sustainable in everyday life.

As Program Director and lead instructor at In Motion Fitness, I love creating a space where people can show up as they are, have fun, work hard, and feel comfortable being themselves. There’s no one right way to move, and what we need from movement can change from season to season.

My goal is to help you discover what works for you, appreciate where you are, and keep exploring what’s possible.

Outside the studio, you’ll find me getting outside, laughing with friends, or working in my yard with music playing. My family lights up my world, keeping me laughing, growing, and appreciating the simple things that make life feel full. I’m happiest when life includes movement, music, laughter, and good people.
